For visitors
Visiting loved ones
At Medical City Mental Health and Wellness Center Frisco, we encourage visitation always and often. For patient safety, we have certain visitor protocols in place, but want you to be as big a part of the recovery process as you and your loved one wish.
Medical City Mental Health and Wellness - Frisco visitation guidelines
Parking
Free parking is available in the parking garage connected to the Medical Office Building. You can access the hospital through the first floor of the garage.
Visiting hours
We encourage our patients to have visitors, and believe the more support a person struggling with mental illness or addiction has outside the hospital, the better their chances are for long-term recovery after they leave. Visits from loved ones during treatment can offer emotional support, help strengthen important relationships and set the stage for continued success. Visiting hours are as follows:
- Adolescent in-person visit hours – 2:30pm to 3:20pm, daily
- Adult in-person visiting hours – 3:30pm to 4:20pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
We value the recovery process and your role in it. The following visitation protocols have been designed so that we can continue to cultivate a safe, nurturing environment for all undergoing treatment. We ask that you please adhere to the following:
- Each patient is allowed a maximum of two visitors at a time
- Items brought to a patient must be checked at the front desk
- No personal property is allowed on the premises, including briefcases, phones and purses
- Please arrive ten minutes early to check in (late visitors will be rescheduled)
- Reservation required for visitation with a valid patient code
- Visitors under 18 years old are not permitted without making prior arrangements with the treatment team
- Visits are limited to one hour
To schedule a visit with your loved one, please visit the link that corresponds with the unit they are on.
