Annual Spooktacular returns to Medical City Alliance on Oct. 26

Medical City Alliance would like to invite the community to the 10th Annual Spooktacular Fall Festival!

October 21, 2024

Fort Worth, TX – The community is invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the annual “Spooktacular” fall festival at Medical City Alliance on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The family-friendly event features music, free food and drinks, face painting, trick-or-treating for the kids, a costume contest, free health information and many more activities.

To support community members in need, Spooktacular attendees are asked to donate one nonperishable food item per attendee for entry into the event. The food will be donated to Community Storehouse, a nonprofit organization that assists Tarrant County families in need.

“We are excited to mark a decade of bringing this fun, family-oriented event to our community,” says Glenn Wallace, CEO of Medical City Alliance. “Spooktacular provides a safe environment for families to enjoy time together and gives attendees a chance to learn more about the many services Medical City Alliance offers to improve their health.”

Hosted since the hospital opened in 2015, Spooktacular has welcomed up to 3,000 community attendees annually.

Spooktacular participants are also encouraged to dress up in costumes, and this year’s theme is “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” Prizes for the best kids’ costumes will be awarded hourly. Other attractions will include a scavenger hunt, photos with a fire truck and a medical transport helicopter, face painters, clowns and community voting on the hospital staff's creative pumpkin decorating contest.
