Medical City Weatherford raises $6,300 at Parker County Peach Festival
Peach Juleps proceeds will benefit the HCA Hope Fund.
Medical City Weatherford proudly participated in the 39th Annual Parker County Peach Festival, where facility colleagues served their famous “Original Peach Julep,” raising $6,300 in proceeds for the HCA Hope Fund.
Since 1985, the Parker County Peach Festival has become a cherished tradition, celebrating the local peach harvest with a display of arts, crafts, and community vendors. This year, Medical City Weatherford's booth was a popular destination, selling more than 1,000 cups of the refreshing Peach Julep throughout the day.
“Our involvement in the Parker County Peach Festival is more than just an event for us,” says Sean Kamber, Medical City Weatherford CEO, who was actively involved in preparing and serving drinks at the festival. “We believe in showing up for our community and caring for them like family. This festival allows us to connect, contribute and demonstrate our commitment to caring for the community inside and outside our hospital walls.”
The proceeds raised will benefit the HCA Hope Fund, a 501(c)3 charity that provides emergency assistance to HCA Healthcare colleagues in times of dire need, including illness, injury, natural disasters and other challenging circumstances affecting their essential needs.
