We strive to make our facility accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance, and all public areas are designed for accessibility. If you need assistance, please speak with a staff member.
Cafeteria
Our hospital cafeteria, the Lone Star Café, is located on the first floor between the surgery waiting room and classroom one and is open Monday-Friday for breakfast from 6:30am-10am and lunch from 11:00am-1:30pm. Visitors can also enjoy vending machines located next to the Lone Star Café, in the emergency department, surgery waiting rooms, and on each patient floor available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week offering beverages and pre-packaged snacks.
Security
Medical City Weatherford has a dedicated 24-hour security team patrolling the campus. They respond promptly to any concerns, requests and lost and found inquiries. For security assistance, call (682) 582-1889 or dial "00" from any hospital phone.
Social services
Patients sometimes require special needs while in the hospital and when planning to return home. Our licensed social workers and case managers provide a variety of services to assist patients, their families and friends. Please tell your nurse if you would like to connect with a social worker.
Spiritual support & chapel
The hospital chapel is located on the 2nd floor. The Chapel is open at all times to every denomination.
Chaplains are available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and friends. To request chaplain services, call the Hospital Operator or tell your nurse you would like a chaplain visit.
Smoking policy
Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds, including outdoor areas and parking lots. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment.
Valuables and personal belongings
We request that you leave all valuables at home. Medical City Weatherford does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen valuables or personal items. If necessary, your nurse can arrange to store small items in the hospital safe.
