9th annual Spooktacular hosted by Medical City Alliance
Over 1,500 attended the annual event despite the rain-soaked forecast.
Fort Worth, Texas — Even with the rain, over 1,500 people attended the 9th annual Spooktacular Fall Festival at Medical City Alliance on Oct. 28. Hosted since the hospital was opened in 2015, Spooktacular has become an annual family tradition for many who call the north Fort Worth area home.
“Our staff are thrilled to host this annual event and tradition,” says Glenn Wallace, CEO at Medical City Alliance. “This event has become one of the premiere community events and supports the many ways we care for our friends and neighbors while living our mission to the care and improvement of human life.”
Children from across the community received treats from hospital units and physician practices, while adults received important health information related to women’s health, heart health, stroke awareness and more. Participants also enjoyed music, food, face painting, a costume contest and the pumpkin decorating contest, where colleagues test their creative skills by decorating a pumpkin. For 2023, Spooktacular attendees voted the pumpkin decorated by the Quality department as their favorite. Pumpkins decorated by the Critical Care and Trauma departments were selected as the second and third place winners as well.
The 10th annual Spooktacular event is scheduled for October 29, 2024.
