Angie Gutierrez named CNO at Medical City Alliance

Fort Worth, Texas — Angie Gutierrez has been named chief nursing officer (CNO) at Medical City Alliance.

As CNO, Gutierrez will be responsible for overseeing patient care and nursing operations for Medical City Alliance, as well as off-campus ERs in Saginaw and Haslet and Medical City Surgical Hospital — Alliance.  

With over two decades of nursing and leadership experience, Gutierrez previously served as assistant CNO at Medical City Arlington and Medical City Denton. Before her roles in North Texas, she worked in a variety of nursing leadership roles at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, which is also part of HCA Healthcare. 

“Angie brings a wealth of nursing experience and knowledge to Medical City Alliance,” says Glenn Wallace, CEO at Medical City Alliance. “With significant growth forecasted for this community, Medical City Alliance will continue expanding to meet the demand and Angie’s experience implementing facility expansion strategies will prove beneficial.”

Gutierrez earned a Master of Healthcare Leadership from Friends University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University, both universities in Kansas. She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the Texas Organization for Nursing Leadership and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has served on several HCA Healthcare committees, including the North Texas Division Professional Practice Governance Board and she is a graduate of HCA Healthcare’s Executive Development and Advanced Leadership Development programs.
