Fifth consecutive Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade earned by Medical City Alliance
Medical City Alliance named Straight A hospital after fifth consecutive "A" hospital safety grade.
Fort Worth, Texas — Medical City Alliance has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. This marks the fifth consecutive cycle of earning the prestigious hospital safety grade.
Leapfrog assigns general hospitals across the country an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade based on over 30 performance measures and the systems hospitals have in place to prevent errors, accidents, injuries and infections.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program focused on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries in the United States. This program is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring.
