School Nurse Education Series
Supporting School Nurses, Strengthening Communities
Medical City Healthcare’s School Nurse Education Series equips school nurses across North Texas with free, high-quality clinical training to support student health and safety.
Medical City Healthcare’s School Nurse Education Series launched in 2017 as part of our ongoing commitment to serve and support the communities we care for. Recognizing the critical role school nurses play in the health and well-being of children, this program was designed to provide ongoing clinical education tailored to their unique needs.
Each year, Medical City Healthcare hospitals across North Texas host professional development days for school nurses in their area. These sessions cover emerging health trends in pediatric care and provide valuable contact hours at no cost—offering school districts both a financial benefit and a knowledge-rich experience.
