Medical City Arlington CEO Lasharndra “Sharn” Barbarin has been named to the Becker’s Hospital Review list of “Women hospital and health system presidents and CEOs to know.” The national list includes over 209 female presidents and CEOs making an impact in their communities.

According to Becker’s, the inspiring leaders are “champions of expanding care access and driving meaningful improvements in how healthcare is delivered. Their vision and leadership are shaping a stronger, more inclusive future for healthcare.”

Barbarin has a depth of leadership experience building a motivational and supportive culture that reflects a “care like family” environment for patient and colleague care. Barbarin previously served as CEO of Medical City Lewisville, empowering the healthcare workforce, setting the standard for healthcare excellence and improving care delivery across generations.
