Educating children about stroke symptoms

Medical City Healthcare and Medical City Children's Hospital is proud to be working with the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association to educate children and adults about stroke prevention.

“Be a Stroke Hero” is a puppet show from Medical City Children's designed to educate children about the signs and symptoms of stroke.

As multigenerational homes become more prevalent in society, teaching people of all ages, including young children, to recognize a stroke and call 911 could save many lives.
