Visiting our hospital

We want you to have a safe, comfortable, and satisfying visit when visiting a patient. Learn more about the amenities and services available to our visitors.

Medical City Frisco visitation guidelines

Parking

Free valet parking is available 5:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at the hospital's Tower A entrance which faces Frisco Square Blvd.

Visiting hours

A parent or guardian must remain with patients under 18 years old at all times.

Two visitors are allowed per patient at a time. Additional visitors may wait in designated waiting areas.

Please respect quiet hours and patient privacy during your visit.

The intensive care unit (ICU), labor & delivery and neonatal ICU (NICU) may have exceptions to general visitation rules. Please consult with a staff member for guidance.

Accessibility services (ADA accommodations)

We strive to make our facility accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance, and all public areas are designed for accessibility. If you need assistance, please speak with a staff member.

Cafeteria

Cafe on the Square is located on the first floor of Tower A next to the main staircase. The cafe is open Monday-Friday 7:00-10:00 for breakfast and 11:00 am-2:00 pm for lunch.

Additional vending options are available throughout the hospital. A Farmer's Fridge vending machine and additional food and beverage options are available 24 hours a day on the second floor waiting area in Tower A. A microwave is also available in this area.

Interpreter services

Interpreter services are available for non-English-speaking patients and families. For assistance, please reach out to registration, a nurse or physician.

Security

Medical City Frisco has a dedicated 24-hour security team patrolling the campus. They respond promptly to any concerns, requests and lost and found inquiries. For security assistance, call (502) 704-1149 or dial "00" from any hospital phone.

Social services

Patients sometimes require special needs while in the hospital and when planning to return home. Our licensed social workers and case managers provide a variety of services to assist patients, their families and friends. Please tell your nurse if you would like to connect with a social worker.

Spiritual support

Chaplains are available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and friends. To request chaplain services, call the Hospital Operator or tell your nurse you would like a chaplain visit.

Smoking policy

Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds, including outdoor areas and parking lots. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment.

Valuables and personal belongings

We request that you leave all valuables at home. Medical City Frisco does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen valuables or personal items. If necessary, your nurse can arrange to store small items in the hospital safe.
