Inpatient rehabilitation
To help patients reach optimum recovery, we provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services and a supportive environment. The goal is to restore independence and ensure a seamless transition to follow-up and outpatient care when it's time to go home.
Physical therapy
Physical therapists help patients improve lower body strength, range of motion, coordination, balance and endurance to achieve optimal mobility and functional skills. They also educate and instruct patients on how to use assistive devices–such as walkers and canes–or safe mobility in their environment.
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapists help patients achieve maximum independence in their ability to perform self-care skills (bathing, dressing, etc.) and other daily living activities. They develop exercise programs to improve each patient's upper body strength, coordination and functional mobility.
Speech therapy
Speech pathologists evaluate and treat impairments in speech production, verbal and/or written expression, and comprehension of speech and/or written material. They may also evaluate and treat impairments in cognition, including attention, concentration, memory, problem-solving and reasoning.
The speech pathologist completes an assessment of swallowing function and recommends treatment. Patients and family members are trained in strategies to facilitate communication and swallowing skills.
