Rhonda Boots named chief financial officer at Medical City Lewisville

Rhonda Boots has been named chief financial officer (CFO) at Medical City Lewisville, starting Oct. 16.

Lewisville – Rhonda Boots has been named chief financial officer (CFO) at Medical City Lewisville, starting Oct. 16. 

With more than two decades of financial leadership experience, Boots served most previously as interim chief financial officer of HCA Healthcare’s Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA, and assistant chief financial officer of HCA Healthcare’s Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, since February 2022. In these roles, she helped lead accounting processes and capital projects, including project development for freestanding emergency departments. 

“We are eager to welcome Rhonda to the Medical City Lewisville leadership team,” says John Walker, CEO of Medical City Lewisville. “I am confident that Rhonda’s knowledge, experience and financial acumen will help lead Medical City Lewisville to the next level of healthcare excellence.” 

Boots will oversee several departments, including finance, patient access, health information management, case management, rehabilitation, revenue integrity, IT&S and supply chain. 

Boots began her career with HCA Healthcare in 2019 as a controller at HCA Healthcare’s Sunrise Hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
