Are you a candidate for weight loss surgery?
The team at the Bariatric & Metabolic Institute uses the following qualifications to determine if you are a candidate for bariatric surgery:
- BMI of 40 or greater
- BMI of 35 - 40 with significant comorbidity (one or more chronic conditions that puts you at increased risk for health problems or premature death, such as diabetes, hypertension or heart disease)
- BMI of 30 - 35 with comorbidities (in select cases)

Insurance benefits and criteria for weight loss surgery vary by plan and employer. Self-pay pricing is also available upon request by phone or in person.
