Jason Wren, MBA, JD, FACHE
Chief Executive Officer, Medical City Decatur, A Campus of Medical City Denton
Jason Wren, FACHE, serves as chief executive officer at Medical City Decatur, a campus of Medical City Denton.
As CEO, Wren provides leadership, strategic direction and direct administrative responsibility for all aspects of financial operations, clinical quality and patient experience for Medical City Decatur, a campus of Medical City Denton.
An attorney by profession, he joined the hospital in 2013 as its general counsel and later vice president of corporate and legal services, before becoming CEO in April 2017. Before joining the hospital, Wren practiced law privately.
Outside of the hospital, he serves in several community and state leadership positions including president of the Decatur Economic Development Corporation board of directors, the Texas Hospital Association’s Member Solutions board and the Texas Hospital Association’s Council on Policy Development. He is a past Decatur city council member. Wren is also a member and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, as well as the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Law section of the Texas State Bar.
Wren earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in health services management from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity University. He earned a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law.
Dean Miller, MSN, MBA, RN
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, Medical City Decatur, A Campus of Medical City Denton
Dean has served as CNO at Medical City Alliance since 2017. In his role as CNO, he has contributed to the growth of services and recognition of critical service lines. Under his leadership, the hospital has achieved multiple accreditations including Chest Pain Level 5 with PCI, a Leapfrog score of “A”, State of Texas Level III NICU designation, Level III Trauma designation and many others. Miller believes in empowering the frontline staff through a shared governance structure to promote research and disseminate evidence-based patient care.
As a Registered Nurse, Miller brings a strong background in developing service lines, establishing patient, physician and employee relationships, and new hospital and emergency room construction. Miller joined Medical City Healthcare in 2010 as Director of ICU at Medical City Arlington and has also served as associate vice president of critical care services and associate chief nursing officer at Medical City Denton. Before joining Medical City Healthcare, Miller worked at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Miller graduated from Texas Tech Health Sciences with a BSN in 2005 and later an MSN in 2010. He also earned his MBA from Western Governors University in 2019 and is a graduate of the HCA Executive Development Program.
Miller serves the local community as well, serving on the Northwest Education Foundation Board of Trustees, an organization dedicated to raising and awarding funds to teachers for use in the classroom.
Lucy Hedari
Chief Financial Officer, Medical City Decatur, A Campus of Medical City Denton
Lucy Hedari was named chief financial officer (CFO) of Medical City Decatur, a campus of Medical City Denton, on March 1, 2024.
In this role, Hedari has direct reporting responsibility for all financial departments, including finance, patient access, health information management, case management, revenue integrity, IT&S and supply chain. Prior to this position, she was vice president of finance at Medical City Fort Worth and Medical City Weatherford, having previously served as the controller at Medical City Fort Worth.
Hedari earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She graduated from the HCA Healthcare Leadership Institute’s Leadership Essentials program in June 2020.
