We want you to have a safe, comfortable, and satisfying visit when visiting a patient. Learn more about the amenities and services available to our visitors.
Medical City Denton visitation guidelines
Visitors are allowed 24 hours per day. After 7:00 pm, enter through the emergency entrance.
A parent or guardian must remain with patients under 18 years old at all times.
Two visitors are allowed per patient at a time. Additional visitors may wait in designated waiting areas.
Please respect quiet hours and patient privacy during your visit.
We strive to make our facility accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance and emergency entrance, and all public areas are designed for accessibility. If you need assistance, please speak with a staff member.

Vending
Snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day in vending machines that are located in the emergency department waiting area.
Medical City Denton's gift shop offers snacks, flowers, and personal items. It is located in the hospital lobby and is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.
Interpreter services are available for non-English-speaking patients and families. For assistance, please ask your nurse for information.
Medical City Denton has a dedicated 24-hour security team patrolling the campus. They respond promptly to any concerns, requests and lost-and-found inquiries. For security assistance, call (214) 897–1757 or dial "00" from any hospital phone.
Patients sometimes require special needs while in the hospital and when planning to return home. Our licensed social workers and case managers provide a variety of services to assist patients, their families and friends. Please tell your nurse if you would like to connect with a social worker.
The hospital chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital next to the emergency entrance. The Chapel is open at all times to every denomination.
A chaplain is available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and friends. To request chaplain services, call the hospital operator or tell your nurse you would like a chaplain visit.
Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds, including outdoor areas and parking lots. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment.
We request that you leave all valuables at home. Medical City Denton does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen valuables or personal items. If necessary, your nurse can arrange to store small items in the hospital safe.
