Jessica O'Neal named DFW Hospital council chair
The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council announces 2024 Board of Trustees.
Jessica O’Neal, CEO of Medical City Las Colinas, was named chair for the 2024 Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council.
The 2024 Board of Trustees is made up of 15 accomplished healthcare executives, serving three-year terms. The board collectively works to improve quality healthcare and drive health equity in the region.

O’Neal was named chief executive officer of Medical City Las Colinas in January 2022, having served previously as the CEO of Medical City Children’s Hospital and Medical City Women’s Hospital Dallas. Under O’Neal’s leadership and unwavering dedication to high-quality, compassionate care, Medical City Las Colinas has been recognized with consecutive A ratings for safety from the Leapfrog Group. The hospital also received the Healthgrades 2022 Patient Safety Excellence Award™, which places the facility among the top 10% of all short-term, acute care hospitals evaluated by Healthgrades.
O'Neal was named a Dallas Business Journal 2023 Women in Business Awards honoree and named to the 2023 Becker’s Hospital Review list of women hospital presidents and CEOs to know. She is actively involved in her community and serves on the board of directors of Community Partners of Dallas.
