Our cancer program accreditations

Our oncology program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program and a Nationally Accredited Breast Center Program. We're also equipped to perform leading-edge microsphere therapy to treat metastatic liver cancer (cancer that spreads to the liver from another area of the body), which is a particularly serious condition.

Breast cancer treatment

We're one of only a few institutions in North Texas to be accredited by the American College of Surgeons National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. We continually achieve this recognition by providing high-quality breast cancer care.

Our patients have access to advanced breast cancer treatment options, such as targeted radiation therapy. Radiation oncologists at our hospital also perform traditional radiation therapy and a range of other procedures to identify and treat breast cancer.

Peritoneal cancer treatment

Peritoneal cancer is a disease affecting the tissue that lines the abdomen. This type of cancer may originate in the abdomen, or it may spread to this area from nearby organs (either digestive organs or reproductive organs).
