New moms and their babies receive round-the-clock care from two teams of in-house physicians—one for mom and one for baby. Infertility treatments
Many couples experiencing infertility problems have a condition that can be identified with a variety of diagnostic procedures, including:
- Lab work to test for hormone irregularities that could interfere with fertility
- Ultrasound imaging to determine if a woman is ovulating
- Hysterosalpingography to show blockages in the fallopian tubes or uterus
- Laparoscopy, an outpatient procedure to look for endometriosis or pelvic scarring, which could prevent pregnancy A urologist can also help determine whether the male partner has enough sperm and if they can swim freely. Most of the time, infertility can be treated with drugs or minor surgery. The specialists at our hospital provide access to oral and injectable fertility medications that stimulate ovulation, as well as intrauterine insemination (also known as "artificial insemination").

This free seminar, taught by one of our OB/GYNs, explains the biological, medical and practical lifestyle aspects of menstruation. It is All About Me is a free seminar offered several times a year.
Infant loss support group
The Infant Loss Support Group meets the first Monday of each month from 7:30pm - 9:00pm in Tower C - Classroom 3 (also known as the Sarah Cannon Cancer Hospital building).
