This elevated recognition is reserved for facilities that significantly exceed the Magnet program’s rigorous key performance standards. This is the third time the hospital has been awarded Magnet designation. 

Earning Magnet with Distinction represents the pinnacle of achievement in nursing professionalism, compassionate and patient-centered care. Healthcare organizations must reapply for Magnet redesignation every four years. Magnet with Distinction status is awarded only to organizations that deliver exceptional outcomes in key performance areas and provide documented evidence of their nursing team’s impact on patient care quality.
