Medical City Denton debuts $8 million cardiovascular intensive care unit
Denton, Texas — Medical City Denton celebrated the completion of an $8 million cardiovascular intensive care unit (CICU) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by hospital leaders, physicians and board of trustees. The dedicated 8-bed unit expands access to advanced cardiovascular and vascular critical care services available to the community.
The new unit is designed for patients recovering from open-heart surgery, complex vascular procedures, advanced heart failure and other critical cardiac conditions. It features leading-edge technology to support high-acuity care for North Texas and strengthen Medical City Denton’s role in advanced specialty care.
