Irving, Texas — Medical City Las Colinas joins an elite group of organizations to receive a Pathway to Excellence® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The designation validates Medical City Las Colinas as one of the best places to work for current and next-generation nurses.

The Pathway to Excellence achievement is a global distinction and requires a thorough facility review process, which documents foundational quality initiatives in creating a positive work environment where nurses feel empowered and valued. The accreditation process includes evaluation of standards in the areas of shared decision-making, leadership, safety, quality, wellbeing and professional development.

"I am proud of the skill and dedication of our outstanding nurses that earned us this honor,” says Chief Nursing Officer Joseph Berumen, DNP, RN. “Our commitment to healthcare excellence, through investment in nursing leadership, policies and safety, is another reason patients choose Medical City Las Colinas as the destination of choice for healthcare excellence."
