Rikki and Miranda

Rikki had been on dialysis for two and a half years when she was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and needed a donor kidney to save her life. Because her type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure caused her kidney failure, the odds of finding a perfect match were very low. After asking for prayers in her church's Facebook group, a woman reached out to Rikki saying that she felt called to see if she was a match – and she was! Miranda, a mother of six, donated a kidney to Rikki in March. Since then, Rikki and Miranda have fully recovered and are living healthy, happy lives. They still attend church together and consider each other family. We are honored to be a part of their journey!
