Dallas, Texas — Medical City Dallas has been named one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades. The achievement reflects Medical City Dallas’s commitment to clinical excellence and top-tier patient care, placing the organization in the top 5% of U.S. hospitals for overall clinical performance for three consecutive years as America’s 250 Best.

In addition to this distinction for overall clinical care, Medical City Dallas has been recognized for its exceptional patient outcomes across its system of care, including cardiac care, stroke care, critical care, spine surgery, orthopedic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. These accolades further reinforce Medical City Dallas’s patient promise to delivering high-quality care in every action, every patient, every time.

“This recognition reflects the unwavering commitment of our physicians, nurses and colleagues to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care every day,” says Jay deVenny, CEO of Medical City Dallas. “Being named one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals underscores why North Texas and beyond seek out Medical City Dallas as the destination of choice for healthcare excellence.”

Medical City Dallas’s achievement is based solely on what matters most: patient outcomes. To determine America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2026, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for more than 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide.

“This year's America’s Best Hospitals list gives patients a clearer picture of where high-quality care is delivered most consistently,” says Alana Biggers, MD, medical advisor at Healthgrades. “Patients can feel confident in their decision to seek care at Medical City Dallas, an organization that is setting the standard for clinical excellence nationwide.”

With care variation on the rise, consumers must find and select a top-rated hospital to maximize their chances of a successful outcome. Consumers can visit Healthgrades’ America’s Best Patient Advocate Center to learn more about how Healthgrades identifies the national leaders in clinical excellence.

Medical City Arlington and Medical City Plano were also named to the prestigious Healthgrades America’s Best Hospitals list. This year, 44 HCA Healthcare hospitals were recognized on the list.
