Fort Worth, Texas — Medical City Alliance, has been recognized as a top performing hospital in the 2026 Modern Healthcare 100 Top Hospitals Powered by Premier. Medical City Alliance is the only North Texas hospital to make the list.

The hospital was honored in the Medium Community Hospital category and is one of 29 HCA Healthcare hospitals recognized on the list.

“Being named among the nation’s top hospitals reflects our commitment to excellence always in every action, every patient, every time,” says Glenn Wallace, CEO of Medical City Alliance. “Our system of care is grounded in operational excellence, innovation and compassion for the communities we are honored to serve.”

Based on publicly available data from Medicare Cost Reports, Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MEDPAR) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Care Compare, the 100 Top Hospitals are selected for excellence in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, patient experience and financial health. The program identifies top performers through an objective, quantitative analysis of hospitals delivering high-quality care across a broad spectrum of patients.

Medical City Alliance opened in 2015 with 55 beds and has since tripled in size with 141 beds. Last year, there were more than 81,600 admissions, nearly 1,300 births and approximately 79,000 emergency room visits. Now a Level III Trauma Center, the hospital is undergoing a major ER expansion to add beds and redesign ambulance bays, enabling more efficient access for first responders. Medical City Alliance has also earned seven consecutive “A” grades from The Leapfrog Group, underscoring its commitment to patient safety and quality.
